The Leboo Safaris History
Leboo Safaris is a French speaking agency designed by a Frenchman who fell in love with Kenya 3 decades ago. Between two reportage shoots, Didier Botte who shares his experience from Kenya to Morocco and Claudio Raccanello and their teams of experts who organize unprecedented personalized safaris in East Africa.
In Kenya and Tanzania, safaris are endless: safari in mini van, in 4x4, for an immersion of the fauna and flora, hot air balloon excursions, treks on horseback, hiking on Mount Kenya, Kilimanjaro, Longonot, Hell's gate, dives etc which can all end with the seaside at the edge of the idyllic waters of the Indian Ocean and everywhere beautiful encounters
The Spirit of our Safaris
The leitmotif and the objective of our safaris are to go off the beaten track and to be as much in harmony as possible with nature.
We therefore avoid the hordes of tourists, the timed programs and the crowded vehicles... the transport is done in a private vehicle with an open roof (Land cruiser or minibus) equipped for bush experience, accompanied by an English-speaking or French-speaking driver/guide (on request) and a cook when necessary.
Both the driver and cook are very professional and have extensive experience in the business, but the atmosphere remains relaxed and it is not uncommon for friendships to form. Our safaris are not only a discovery of fauna and flora, they are also human experiences.
The driver will guide you in your discovery at your own pace and at your convenience... because if the proposed circuits can be adopted as they are, the fact remains that they can also be modified so that your next safari is really the trip of your dreams !!!
For camping you should know that it is often quite basic in Kenya… however this allows you to be much closer to nature and the population (increased contact with drivers / guides, cooks, rangers… etc.). We provide tents (for 2 or 3), mattresses and other necessary equipment, however we advise you to bring your sleeping bags as a sleeping bag is something personal. It is a very rich and unforgettable experience to camp in the Kenyan bush.

Avant tout merci Leboo Safaris pour cet excellent accueil à l’aéroport. Jackson notre Chauffeur nous a guidé tout au long de ce périple, il a été à l’écoute et d’un professionnalisme sans faute et d’une extrême gentillesse. Nous tenions à le remercier et à le féliciter. Pendant ces 12 jours ce fut comme dans un rêve mais nous ne rêvions pas c’était bien réel en découvrant cette faune et flore si magnifiques, l’Orphelinat des éléphants de Daphne Sheldrick très émouvant. La beauté des paysages, les lacs tels que Baringo un vrai petit paradis pour les hippopotames dont un que nous aimions entendre venir le soir avec son petit près de notre Lodge sans oublier la promenade en bateau. Le lac Bogoria super avec ses flamants roses qui illuminaient le ciel lors de leur envol. Les parcs très diversifiés avec ces différents animaux sauvages et le départ pour Masai Mara avec sa réserve nationale qui abrite tous ces animaux splendides. La visite chez les Masaïs dans la culture nous a permis de découvrir comment vivent-ils. Ce voyage et très beau Safaris resteront gravés dans notre coeur ! Afrique un jolie pays que nous n’oublions pas.

Nous voulons vous remercier pour le magnifique voyage que nous avons fait. Tout était excellent. Félix a été d’une gentillesse remarquable et un guide hors pair. Grâce à lui, nous avons pu voir beaucoup d’animaux. Il a su voir même l’invisible. Sans lui le voyage n’aurait pas eu la même saveur. Il parle parfaitement bien le français et à su nous expliquer les noms et habitudes de tous les animaux. Tous les lodges choisis étaient impeccables. Nous avons préféré le Masai Mara et Samburu pour le nombre et la variété d’animaux. Nous n’avons qu’une hâte c’est de repartir. Merci encore Brigitte et Joël
